The mounting position affects the appearance, clearance and light gaps around your blind.
Sits within the window opening for a tidy, recessed finish. Check that the recess is deep enough and that handles, winders and opening windows will clear the fabric and brackets.
Mounts on the wall or suitable architrave. Extending past the opening can reduce light gaps and help clear obstructions. Use the outside-fit measuring instructions.
Look at which side of the tube the fabric drops from.
The fabric falls from the back of the tube, nearer the window. This usually keeps the cloth closer to the glass or wall and helps reduce light gaps. The fabric backing is visible around the top roll.
The fabric falls over the front of the tube, covering the roll with the room-facing fabric. It sits further from the window, which can help clear handles but may increase light gaps.
A linked layout places neighbouring blinds on shared intermediate brackets, reducing the gap between them.
Neighbouring blinds remain separate fabric panels. The intermediate brackets support the join and reduce the gap; they do not turn the blinds into one continuous sheet.
L and R show the control side for each group. Matching letters join those panels to one control; LR gives independent left and right controls. Chain loops below show control positions; motorised layouts use the corresponding motor side.
LLL and RRR are available only with the relevant motorised control. Complete each extra width field and use the linked-blind measuring guide for the bracket positions.

Select the finish offered by your control option. The metal and stainless-steel choices have a reflective surface; coloured chains use a solid finish.
The base rail finishes the lower edge of your roller blind.

The optional rubber insert cushions contact between the back of the rail and the window or frame.
Consider it where airflow can move the blind or where the rail may touch the sill or architrave.
Check the quantity described by the option so the insert covers the intended rails in your configuration.
A fascia covers the visible roller hardware for a more enclosed-looking finish.
The current single-roller options include a 75 mm square fascia, a 100 mm square fascia and a 100 mm fabric-wrapped square fascia. The photograph shows the square profile; the fabric-wrapped option covers the front in fabric.
Use the double-roller fascia offered with that product. Its profile and clearance differ from a single-roller fascia.
A decorative fascia covers the front of the hardware. A cassette is an enclosure system; it has different mounting and measuring requirements.
A cassette encloses the roller, with channels or an enclosure arrangement selected for the product.
Check the enclosure option against your opening and sill. The configuration determines whether a bottom enclosure is included.
Clearance and fixing points differ from an ordinary roller blind. Follow the cassette measuring instructions before entering your dimensions.
Start with the light and privacy you need in this room.
An opaque fabric for night-time privacy and a darker room. Light can still enter around the edges of the blind; the fit and roll direction affect those gaps.
An open weave softens strong daylight while preserving some view outside. Privacy depends on the lighting on each side of the window. Add a blockout layer when you need privacy at night.
Diffuses daylight and softens the view through the window. With the lights on after dark, silhouettes may be visible. A blockout layer gives you more control over privacy.
