How to Read Your Shutter Drawings

Your shutter drawing or order summary turns the selected measurements and options into a visual representation of what will be manufactured.

Check the overall dimensions

Compare the displayed width and drop with the final measurements for the correct window. Do not compare them with an earlier rough quote.

Check panel layout

Confirm the number of panels, hinge directions and any fixed vertical posts align with your intended window layout.

Check horizontal features

Review midrail positions and other horizontal divisions against the underlying window.

Check frame and mount

Make sure the selected frame corresponds with the inside or outside mounting plan and the available clearance.

Resolve anything unclear

Do not approve a drawing you do not understand. Ask for clarification before the order proceeds to custom manufacture.
