Choosing the Right Shutter Colour

Plantation shutters are usually selected to feel like part of the window itself, so small differences between white and neutral tones can make a surprisingly big difference once the shutter is installed.

Colour match guide

Our PVC shutters are available in Glacial White, Shell and Antique. Rather than choosing from a screen, compare a physical sample with your architrave, skirting, wall colour and other painted finishes in the room.

Check the colour in both daylight and artificial light. A cooler white can look slightly grey beside a warm paint, while a warmer white can appear creamier against a cool wall colour.

If you want the shutter to blend into the window, select the closest undertone to your trim. If you deliberately want contrast, choose the finish that works best with the overall room rather than trying to force an exact trim match.
